WVMAW is offering accommodations to individuals and groups that may be interested in helping families during the muck out stage from the May 3, 2009 flood in Southern West Virginia.  Note that this is different from the long term recovery efforts through our Workcamps.  There will be no charge for these accommodations.  You will be responsible for bringing your own tools, supplies and materials.  We will coordinate your group with current muck out teams in the community.

Gilbert, WV: Accommodations in the Gilbert Presbyterian Church.  Can sleep up to 20 with floor space.  There are two bathrooms, and showers are available in nearby community center.  Access to fully equipped kitchen.

 

Welch, WV: Accommodations in the Welch Presbyterian Church.  Has bunk beds for 18, and plenty of floor space.  Two showers and 5 bathrooms.  Access to fully equipped kitchen.

 

We have Tyvek suits and masks available through PDA.
