Cents-Ability Minimize
The Cents-Ability Offering, which is received faithfully in many congregations throughout our Presbytery, provides critical support of food pantries, garden projects, and nutrition programs across our Presbytery. Faithful and prayerful giving to this important special offering makes it possible for hungry people to be fed.

The Hunger Action Ministry Team meets quarterly to allocate the funds available to them. Three kinds of grants are made: Direct Food Relief, Developments Assistance (seeking to meet the “root causes” of hunger), and Capital Expenses/Administrative (freezers, shelving, etc.)

Does your congregation support a food ministry in your community which is in need of this funding? Grant applications are available online at the Presbytery website or by contacting the Presbytery office or Carolyn Arbuckle, your Hunger Action Enabler, at HC 37, Box 148, Lewisburg, WV 24901; carbuckle@gvcwv.net; 304-645-3693.

On behalf of all of those who are served through the Cents-Ability Offering, thank you for your generous giving and prayers for those who are hungry.
