The Bible is the foundational book of the Church. The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament “bear witness to the Word of God revealed most fully in Jesus Christ, the Word who ‘became flesh and lived among us’ (John 1:14).” (W-3.0301) Written over a period of time, the Bible is a library of 66 books, including history, prophecy, gospel, poetry, and more. This event will explore how the Bible that we read now has come to us through generations of God’s people as these books were written over a period of time and joined together.
