Year-end information for clerks

In December, Clerks of Session received information on the statistical report, year-end forms (including updated Pastor’s Compensation and Necrology reports) and the 2020 Listening Events. The Pastor’s Compensation and Necrology reports are due Jan. 27; both can be found on the Documents page of the Presbytery website.

Statistical Reports must be completed by Feb. 20. Click here for the link to the Presbyterian Church (USA) website that includes Frequently Asked Questions.  The Presbytery Office cannot change membership numbers, rather church membership numbers are based on the successful completion of this report.  Churches are responsible for completing the annual statistical report. The membership numbers reported to the General Assembly are the basis for each church’s Per Capita Assessment; the membership numbers reported for 2019 are the basis for the 2021 Per Capita Assessment.

If you have questions or need help with your reports, contact Maureen Wright at 304-744-7634 or statedclerk@wvpresbytery.org.
