The Presbytery of West Virginia’s Nurture Committee presents

with Michelle Snyder, Soul Shop Director

Thursday, October 24, 2019, 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Village Chapel Presbyterian Church, Charleston

Soul Shop provides both inspirational and practical tools to help congregational leaders form safe organizations for those who are impacted by suicidal depression, including people who are considering suicide, people concerned about friends and family who may be suicidal, people who have lost someone to suicide, and people who have thought of suicide in the past.

The workshop will address some of the primary obstacles to dealing with suicidal desperation, statistics/facts about suicide, and how ministries can create a supportive environment while fundamentally altering the way people deal with this subject and one another.
