The Westminster Foundation of West Virginia is entering a period of transition this spring at the ministry in Morgantown. The current Presbyterian Campus Pastor at West Virginia University, Rev. Dr. Shelly Barrick Parsons, will be relocating to Richmond, VA, this summer. Her husband recently took a new job in the Richmond area, and Shelly and her family will complete the school year in Morgantown, then move this summer.
We are grateful for the ministry of Shelly and her family over the years. We will be celebrating their years of service to campus ministry as the summer approaches. Look for more information about the celebration on our Facebook page and in subsequent presbytery newsletters.
The foundation has begun the process of prayerfully seeking the next person to serve in campus ministry to the WVU community, including the Presbyterian Student Fellowship and Harless Center.
