Racism is not about individual prejudice or an individual’s beliefs and attitudes. Instead, racial discrimination in the U.S. is a socially constructed system. This Toolbox course will explore the reality of racism and how we might work to address the system of racism that surrounds us.

This course will be led by Rev. Denise Anderson, Coordinator, Racial and Intercultural Justice (Compassion, Peace, and Justice/Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries); Rev. Dr. Alonzo Johnson, Coordinator of Self Development of People; Rev. Michael Moore, Associate for African American Intercultural Congregational Support, Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries; and Rev. Amy Mendez, Associate Director, Racial Equity & Women’s Intercultural Ministries, all of the Presbyterian Mission Agency.
