Next year’s Festival of Faith, a day of learning, worship, and fellowship, will be Saturday, March 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Zoom. Diana Butler Bass, an award-winning author and internationally-known public speaker and thought leader on issues of spirituality, religion, culture, and politics, will be our keynote presenter.
Bass’ most recent book is Grateful: The Subversive Practice of Giving Thanks; the Festival of Faith Planning Team is planning book discussion opportunities on this book in early 2021. Her next book, Freeing Jesus: Rediscovering Jesus as a Friend, Teacher, Savior, Lord, Way, and Presence, will be available in March 2021. You can find more information about Diana Butler Bass on her website.
Committee chairs and Presbytery staff will be asked to submit workshop applications based on their work. Others who wish to submit workshop applications may also do so. The workshop application deadline is Monday, November 16. The Festival of Faith Planning Team will review all workshop applications at its next meeting in late November and select those to be offered in March. If you would like to submit a workshop proposal, the information can be found here.
