Join the Presbytery of West Virginia for the 6th Annual Small Church Conference from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Fayetteville Presbyterian Church. Sometimes the phrase “small church” can cause us to hear or see a subliminal message. Small church can subconsciously translate as less church. While the human and financial resources available may be less, that does not mean the smaller church is any less “spirit filled” or less engaged in God’s work. That is why this year’s theme is “Little is much when God is in it.”

  • Rev. Dr. Judi Slater of Duquesne (PA) First Presbyterian Church will offer a keynote address and workshop on partnering mission
  • Presbytery Resource Center Director Nellie Howard will host a workshop focusing on the many resources available to us as we seek to minster to the needs of the church
  • Members of the Valley Parish, including pastor Rich Cardot, will be on hand to lead a conversation on parish ministry as they share their experience

While we encourage everyone to attend, the registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 3 to allow for meal planning. After that day, lunch will not be included. There is no cost to attend. Register by calling the Presbytery office at 304-744-7634, emailing office@wvpresbytery.org or filling out the form below.
